The last S+ update

Das letzte Update für Structure Plus (S+) ist da. Denn der Entwickler von S+ (orionsun) hat unter dem Punkt "Everything You Need To Know About S+", unter dem Punkt "Patch Notifications" folgendes angegeben: "Nicht länger relevant! (Es sind keine weiteren Updates geplant.)".

Einige Nutzer fragen sich nun ob die Mod "Tot" oder "auf Eis" ist - dies kann jedoch ausdrücklich mit "Nein." beantwortet werden.

Wir glauben es gibt wirklich wenige Mods die, einerseits, eine so hohe Qualität und andererseits eine so hohe Kompatiblität wie S+ in Bezug auf andere Mods auf den Tisch legen.

Wie jetzt - warum letztes Update?

Einige Nutzer fragen sich nun ob die Mod "Tot" oder "auf Eis" ist - dies kann jedoch ausdrücklich mit "Nein." beantwortet werden. 

Eine mögliche Sicht der Dinge:

ARK hat so wie es aussieht nun erstmal die letzten großen Änderungen bekommen. Nachdem die Map "TheIsland" damals sehr gut angekommen ist und die weiteren angekündigten DLC's ScorchedEarth, Aberration und Extinction nun alle released sind, kann man trotz des Ende von Extinction wohl davon ausgehen, dass nun erst einmal pause ist was die weiterentwicklung von ARK betrifft. Wir hoffen natürlich das WildcardStudios der ARK Community das Gegenteil beweist, jedoch sollte die Erwartungshaltung in Bezug auf ein "bald" kommendes weiteres DLC wohl nicht allzu groß sein. 

Structures Plus ist auf unoffiziellen Servern breit vertreten - und zwar so stark, dass ARK einige Dinge von S+,teilweise oder ganz mit in das Hauptspiel übernommen hat. Die Nutzer sind begeistert - die Admins auch - jedoch gibt es viele die meinen dass dies nicht ausreichend sei. Das Thema "ARK Konfiguration" ist wohl eines der schwierigsten. 

Mit dem Release von Extinction wurden viele neue Items, Dinos und "Möglichkeiten" ins Spiel mit eingebaut die natürlich in S+ nicht abgebildet werden konnten, da S+ erst ein weiteres Update benötigte. Orionsun hat hier auf jeden Fall noch mal einiges an Änderungen gemacht. Viel zu viel um genau auf alle Details einzugehen. Wenn Ihr alles über S+ genau wissen möchtet solltet ihr euch "Everything You Need To Know About S+" anschauen. Einen letzten Aktuellen Changelog haben wir unten angefügt.

- Fixed issue with S+ Mutator mode blacklist not working for the Corrupt & Aberrant pulses
- S+ Mutator will no longer convert dead or non-adult dinos
- Fixed issue with S+ Mutator conversion pulses re-applying on invalid dinos(ie corrupt on already corrupt dinos)
- Corruption pulse will now properly convert Tek Rex
- Aberrant converted dinos will respect the neuter/clone stasis of the original dino
- Corrupted converted dinos are always neutered, set as cloned & won't go into a cryopod
- Converted dinos will now keep their colorization & gender
- Converted dinos will no longer be imprinted
- Fixed issue with converted dinos losing a level & not having their stats correctly display after conversion
- Corrupted dinos & Meks are no longer affected by the Allow Breeding pulse

New Structures
- S+ Tek Leash (can hide the radius circle & removed pulsing red ring, doesn't require power)
- S+ Taxidermy Bases (small/med/large, snaps to floors/ceiling/roofs, can change or remove base, change rotation after placement, hide flyer support pole & adjust scale)
- S+ Tek Bridge (thinner model, placeable on structures & tree platforms, can connect tree platforms, only snaps to itself)
- S+ Gacha Gavager (fills the linked Gacha's inventory from its own, Gachas fed this way are not saddened by being close to other gachas, their mate boost range is increased & they can't move)
- S+ Crystal Cracker (automatically opens Gacha crystals, can upload to dedicated storage on demand)
- S+ Drone Terminal (crafts scouts & enforcers)
- S+ Planetary Shield (stops meteors from impacting the map, requires at least 4 tek generators to power it)
- S+ Incinerator (destroys items placed in its inventory)
- S+ Dyeria (creates dyes, produces its own water, creates more dye than normal)
- S+ Repair Station (can repair anything that is repairable, can repair everything in inventory at once)
- S+ Tek Stove (instantly cooks meat, can make jerky)
- S+ Tek Forge (instantly smelts metal into ingots, wood into charcoal, organic polymer into polymer & congealed gas into gas balls, can also craft element between its 3 forms, spoils unstable element quickly)
- S+ Tek Cooking Pot (gets water like crop plots from taps, uses less water when crafting & can make a version of beer that doesn't use a water jar)
- S+ Tek Fridge (resets the spoil timer of items when placed inside, refills water containers and can make iced water)
- S+ Laboratory (combines chemistry bench with the resource conversion from the grinder and can also make fertilizer)
- S+ Item Translocator (can send items to a linked item translocator, can be set to auto-send items)
- S+ Tek Storage (similar dimension & snapping as dedicated storage but has a smaller, regular inventory, can set label on sides)
- S+ Triangle Tek Elevator (works with square tek elevators as well)
- S+ Seamless Crop Plot (square/triangle, can toggle visibility of sides similar to glass, works with model gun)
- S+ Tek Glass Wall/Ceiling/Roof (adjustable transparency but no alternate models, gives greenhouse effect)
- S+ Tek Hitching Post (same as normal hitching post but more resilient)

Updates
- Euthanasia gun now respects the "Prevent Dino Unclaiming" rank flag
- Demo gun now respects the "Prevent Demolishing Structures" rank flag
- Added Extinction resources to pull list
- Added filter box to pull resource UI
- S+ Item Collector now collects Gacha Crystals & Snow Owl Pellets (note: existing collection settings will be reset)
- S+ item Collector will collect poop produced in S+ Vivariums
- S+ Item Collector can distribute Gacha Crystals to S+ Crystal Crackers & Owl Pellets to S+ Animal Tenders
- S+ Animal Tender can distribute Owl Pellets to nearby Gachas (can set the amount to keep on their inventory via the radial menu)
- Added 2 new pulses to the S+ Mutator (Corruption & Aberrant, will convert 1 nearby dino to corrupted/aberrant version but only works if there is an existing version, innate stat levels are kept but exp and tamed levels are lost, imprint is transferred and updated to whoever activated the pulse)
- Reworked how vivariums produce eggs (females have a chance to produce an egg, males increase that chance while oviraptors decrease the time between laying)
- Added 4 new vivarium config options (VivariumEggIntervalSeconds, VivariumOviIntervalMultiplier, VivariumMaleEggChanceBonus, VivariumFemaleEggChance... see config discussion for more details)
- Removed VivariumDinoLimit config option (Vivarium only holds 10 dinos, any dinos over the cap will not be deleted)
- S+ Vivarium can now collect poop (note: females do not produce poop)
- Reworked the S+ Auto Crafter (can only craft player learned items but does so instantly)
- S+ Auto Crafter can now craft items that are crafted in the player's inventory
- Added a selection box when choosing a crafting station in the S+ Auto Crafter (it also no longer consumes the station)
- Added a filter box to the recipe selection UI in the S+ Auto Crafter
- Changed MutatorPulseCost config to also accept an array of costs (must contain 7 comma separated integers, if only 1 value is entered that will be used for all pulses)
- Changed how dinos are hitched to hitching posts (you now select dinos to hitch/unhitch from the post itself, it no longer adds the radial menu to nearby dinos)
- The model gun will now toggle railings into half walls & ramps into stairs(and vica versa)
- Updated the S+ Gardener blacklist functionality (now displays a list of items in the gardener inventory to blacklist and uses a similar UI to remove)
- Added blacklist functionality to the S+ Hatchery 
- Added option to show S+ Dedicated Storage resource totals on the top & bottom
- You can no longer drop a personal teleporter beacon in boss arenas (new config: AllowPersonalTeleporterInBossArena to allow beacons in boss arenas)
- S+ Tek Lights now function underwater
- Mannequin's can now sit
- Removed vanilla engram requirement for the S+ Industrial Forge due to mods remapping it
- Walls & Window Walls will no longer be obstructed by roofs & ramps during placement
- S+ Elevator Call Button can now be unlocked which will allow anybody to use it
- You can now prevent allies from crossing the S+ Tek Shield
- Added 2 new recipes to the S+ Grinder (Element Dust from Element and Bio Toxin from narcotics)
- Cleaned up how vanilla tek bridges snap to S+ structures

Bug Fixes
- You can no longer choose a rotation when placing S+ foundations (this fixes a long standing bug with stacked foundations not being correctly demolished when they lost support)
- Fixed issue that made it difficult to place stacked foundations in some places
- You can no longer change mutator pulses after activation
- Snappable utility structures(fridge, AC, storage boxes, etc) can no longer snap without ground support
- Fixed issue with Transfer Tool not loading items for certain languages
- Escape now properly closes the Transfer Tool UI without bringing up the menu
- Cryopods will no longer be dropped by the Inventory Assistant
- Fixed deaths associated with using the S+ Teleporter while riding a dino
- Fixed issue with S+ Auto Crafter not recognizing crafting costs that were changed via config
- Fixed issue with pull selected not respecting exact class requirement of crafting recipes (ie shocking tranq darts)
- Fixed issue with transfering similar resources to dedicated storage via the transfer tools(ie organic polymer being split between polymer & organic polymer storage)
- The Allow Breeding pulse of the S+ Mutator no longer affects Reapers

Update: 7. Aug. 2018 um 5:22 Uhr

- Fixed issue that caused a crash when trying to paint the Mannequin
- Every helmet & most skins should work with the Mannequin now (note: helmets set prior to this update will be gone)
- You can now pause the current Mannequin animation
- You can now completely hide the Mannequin character mesh(ie everything but the armor)
- The Nanny, Farmer, Gardener & Sheep Herder can no longer equip armor directly (simply put the armor in the inventory long enough for the model to be copied)
- The Nanny, Farmer, Gardener & Sheep Herder can now equip skinned items
- The Sheep Herder now has a real body
- Fixed issue with the Auto Crafter not correctly updating when re-claiming a crafting station
- The Auto Crafter will now drop its crafting station when destroyed
- Fixed issue with Auto Crafter not resuming normal crafting speed after going idle
- Fixed issue with Auto Crafter not producing the correct quantity of items for certain recipes
- You will no longer receive any resources back when demolishing an Auto Crafter (note: any unplacable Auto Crafters will no longer exist in your inventory)
- Dedicated storage will now display colorization for icons that support it (ie eggs)
- The S+ Shield Generator & S+ Mutator can no longer be picked up by the demo gun at any time

 

Update: 6. Aug. 2018 um 3:30 Uhr

- New Structure: S+ Auto Crafter 
* Place other crafting station inside of it, then select a recipe for it to auto craft
* Contains an item in its inventory that will allow you to pull selected and get resources based on whatever recipe is selected
- New Structure: S+ Mannequin (can adjust appearance via custom character creation UI, set different poses and equip with all slots of armor... no weapons yet and some hats don't show)
- Fixed issue with the rotation of icons on the S+ Dedicated Storage
- The Hitching Post rope now spawns with a more appropriate length
- You can now disable auto crafting on the S+ Cooking Pot & S+ Industrial Cooking Pot (note: there is a delay between re-enabling auto crafting and when it begins)
- Absorbent Substrate added to pull list
- Fixed issue with dino scan incorrectly counting tamed dinos when checking for spawned dinos
- Child versions of a selected dino type in the dino scan will no longer show (ie you won't see alpha raptors when searching for raptors)
- Disabling the coordinates in the dino scan no longer disables the map view
- Water dinos can now be added to the vivarium 
- Adjusted bonuses & penalties of females, males & oviraptors in the vivarium
- Fixed issue with incorrectly calculating the tame limit when removing dinos from the vivarium (note: dinos can not be removed once you hit your tame cap and any dinos over your tame cap will be lost if the vivarium is destroyed)
- The vivarium is now craftable in the S+ Crafting Station
- Added a UI for dino selection in the vivarium & cloning chamber
- Glass straight stairs can now have their transparency changed
- S+ Tek Sleeping Pod can be placed on rafts & saddles
- S+ Stone Gateway, S+ Stone Behemoth Gateway & S+ Wood Gateway had their crafting cost increased to match vanilla costs
- The Animal Tender will be more calm (note: while its interesting to read all the theories on what the animations mean, they do not mean anything)
- Fixed issue with pull code not correctly recognizing stackable items when using a stack mod
- S+ Fridge & A+ AC can no longer be placed close to enemy structures
- Fixed bug with S+ generator that allowed it to increase the foundation support range of the ceiling it was snapped to
- New Config Option: VivariumDinoLimit (sets how many dinos can be placed in the vivarium. Note: only the first ten will be displayed on the structure HUD)
- New Config Option: RemovePowerRequirementFromVivarium (will allow the vivarium to be activated without power)
- New Config Options: AutoCrafterSlotCount & AutoCrafterCraftingSpeed

- Adjusted crafting cost of the triangle Tek foundation
- S+ Staircases now have the same crafting cost as vanilla to enable conversion between the two

Dino Scan has been completely revamped with a new UI and new functionality:
- The list of dino types is now separated into two lists with currently spawned on top of the ones without any spawns
- You can now filter the dino list & clicking on a dino will show its approximate position on a map
- New Config: DisableDinoScanDetails (hides the latitude & longitude)
- New Config: DisableDinoScanMap (won't show the map when a dino is clicked)

The scan process is as follows:
1.) The world loads and a list of all spawnable dinos is compiled once
2.) When the Dino Scan UI is opened, the server will check that list to see which ones are spawned and cache that data for 1 minute
3.) When a dino type is selected, a list of those dinos is requested from the server and is cached for 30 seconds
4.) The server then determines the location of those matching dinos and sends it to the client

What this means:
- The breakdown of dinos that have spawns vs those without can be a maximum of 1 minute out of date 
- The list of a specific dino type can be a maximum of 30 seconds out of date
- The location is always accurate in real time
(note: the Dino Scan UI will not update the spawn status of dinos while open but you can still click on any dino to get current data on them)

- Fixed issue that prevented pull selected from recognizing certain resources when a stack mod was installed
- Fixed issue with certain structures getting poop from the item collector that shouldn't have
- Cleaned up dino scan class listing
- Dinos must now be alive, full health and fully grown before they can go in the vivarium
- New Config: DisableVivariumPlacementOnSaddles (will prevent the vivarium from placing on saddles & rafts)
- Using the hitch all nearby dinos option will no longer hitch shoulder pets & dead dinos
- Fixed issue that prevented certain flyers from initiating the cloning process
